For the last couple of years you may have noticed a lack of content on this website.
In multiple occasions I tried to create content and had it in my drafts, but thought that the impact would be much bigger if I ended up creating this as an official documentation article from the Microsoft side.
That’s how articles such as Slowly changing dimension type 2 (and many others) came to be and I ended up prioritizing those sort of articles or the ones that you see in the Microsoft Fabric Blog.

So, what’s the plan for this website?
For the longest time I was trying to figure out if the number of visitors would decline to the point where perhaps just shutting down my website would be the best plan. I’m still surprised by the number of visitors and just overall traffic that this website gets and I’m surprised by it.
Nevertheless, trends have emerged and most of the traffic ends up happening for only a number of posts.
My overall plan is to recreate those top posts that I have on this website under the official Microsoft documentation (as we don’t have any articles for those specific topics yet) and then archive this website. The future of Power Query, Dataflows and Data Factory is bright, so I’m trying to dedicate most of my time available towards making the vision that we have for those products a reality and utilize the platform that I have under those products to reach as many users as possible so they can all be aware of the potential that the products have for them.
My future
Putting my day job to the side, I’m taking a pretty serious journey into the arts. Specifically filmmaking and music. It’s been something that I’ve been meaning to do for quite a while.
